One Bee Left

There are 270 species of bees in the UK. In ‘One Bee Left’ I celebrate this diversity whilst acknowledging the threat they currently live under. Each of my bees flies towards the left of the panel. As individual panels are removed their numbers diminish until there may be only be one bee left. Painted life-size in acrylic on hand-made gesso panels, each one is signed on the back and comes ready to hang.
