Silent Harmony Artwork - Limited Edition of 10

My name is Olena Shevchenko. My artistic focus is on dimensional wall panels, interior paintings, sculptures, and unique decorative elements for space design. I was born in Uzbekistan and lived in Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Russia, and Ukraine — each place left a deep imprint on my soul. That’s why my art is so multifaceted and rich in ethnic and cultural elements. I didn’t come to art — I was born with it. From early childhood, I was the best at drawing in kindergarten and school; it was a natural extension of my inner world. I graduated from art school and later received a higher education in Saint Petersburg at the High School of Fashion, specializing in fashion design. Creative practice has accompanied me throughout my life. I have worked with a wide variety of materials, constantly experimenting and combining the unexpected. I can sew, knit, sculpt, model, design, and create decor; I work with clay, fabric, paper, wood, foam, and even egg cartons. I create my own original techniques, which I use in my work and teach to others. I’m inspired by the world around me — nature, light, form, and texture. I try to express the beauty and intention of our Creator in each piece. There are no creative boundaries for me. Everything that surrounds me can become part of a new artwork. At the age of three, I made my first creative decision — I cut a piece of fabric from my mother’s dress and tried to sew clothes for my doll. That’s how my story began. Despite having nine children and devoting many years to raising my family, I continue to create, teach, and inspire. I offer original masterclasses, have students who follow in my footsteps, and my works are already in private collections across Europe, America, and the CIS countries. I recently took part in an exhibition in Hannover, and this is just the beginning. Art is my path, my gift, and my true expression. I can’t help but create — I live through art.
