Jb Carrera

JB Carrera’s introspective work is connecting complex harmony of colors, syncopated rhythms of line and texture with a strong emphasis on intuitive improvisation. Much of her inspiration comes from natural textures found during her travels.

Originally from Kansas City, a city rich in multicultural heritage and Jazz & Blues music, Jen’s work is created through spontaneous mark making. Although her Color Studies are a large part of her process, her subjects vary between spiritual and/or current social observations.
