Nathalie Hugnin

I am a painter and designer living in Mauritius & grew up in South Africa

Following many travels, as a free lance graphic designer my art career weaves the stories of photography, textile design, interior design, corporate identities and more recently focusing on contemporary painting, which had always been a parallel interest.

My art works focus on texture, abstract & nude compositions, mostly based on traditional media and techniques, including etchings, canvas, paper and recycled articles, using acrylics, oils, mixed media & charcoals.

Works and paintings reflect my beliefs of ‘less is more’ as as revealed in diaries of thoughts as well as private commissions with curves and movement in its simplest form.

Sales locations include Europe, South Africa and Mauritius.

Graduated in graphic design at the Johannesburg Art Foundation in South Africa.
