My name is Angela and I am 27. I was born and raised in rainy Tallinn, Estonia. Lately I decided to desert the cold and windy shore of the Baltic Sea for sunny and welcoming France and Greece where I currently reside. An ability to try new things and experiment is hugely important to me not only when it comes to choosing a place to live but also when it comes to expressing myself through art. Over the years I have worked with various media like graphite and pastels, acrylic and oil, ink and watercolour. My primary focus had been the landscape and still-life. I have graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from the Tallinn University in 2012 having also studied interior design in the Estonian Academy of Arts for some time earlier. I developed a strong passion for ceramics a few years ago. Clay turned out to be a great medium to express my mentation at this point of my life. My work is made out of clay. I strive to limit the use of tools to a bare minimum. I believe that my hands and clay have the best chance to capture my vision. My particular interest lies in creating simple forms, covered in details. My current work has evolved from my personal story and every piece is one of a kind. I consider my pottery to be non-utilitarian. I create my work for you to enjoy - using my pots for its direct purpose is just a little extra.
