Art classes and a formal study of Commercial Art led the artist to spend 20 successful years across India in Advertising. After which she decided to take a break and travel beyond the shores of her country. Towards the end of her long holiday a fortune cookie threw up a message “Its okay to slow down and smell the roses”. She says the message helped her pursue a long standing passion in Fine Art.
In time spent building her own Communication - Art Design setup smelling her sister requested her to pick up her brush again to fill some blank wall spaces. The experience was fulfilling, the love for art and its creation still intact and creating for the sheer pleasure of it, was very peaceful and fulfilling!
Now the artist spends time between Delhi and a tiny Himalayan Hamlet.
Currently where her Fine Art passion is concerned, she is in a space where she feels meditative painting Lotus Lakes, enjoys playing with photography with her art for a kitchen art series. Else she is creating some old world charm with street scenes, doors and windows always with a profusion of flowers. Her reason being that she has a brown thumb and not a green one, so the only place her plants and flowers thrive is on her canvas.
