I was born and raised in Hong Kong. In my works, I pay attention to color, material and symbolic meaning to achieve certain moods with psychological sensations. Taking what I see around my living area as resources of my works, I believe those imageries and materials which catch my attention contain intense sentiment of my personal experience. They are more than an object and metaphysical. In addition, the process of making a painting is also my concern. I investigate, go through and digest events that happened in my life by composing related color, material, and image on a surface, which I frequently respond to.
