Guglielmo Ferraiola

Lives and works in Anzio (Rome). He experienced his creativity in the field of directing and stage design. In the mid-´70s, he undertook a project to fund a popular circus tent “on the road”. This leads him, along with a group of friends, to travel across Europe, asking to famous artists to donate their works to raise funds for the project. It ´s so who knows many artists of renown, that enrich its cultural fabric and training: Manzù, Mazzacurati, Guttuso (who provided the image for the poster of the theater), in Mougin Picasso – who donated three prints on linoleum, Cesar again in Paris and Sonia Delaunay still in London Francis bacon and Henry Moore and david Hockney, Cornwall Alan David and Barbara Hepworth and many others that have profoundly marked the artistic career of Ferraiola. The sculptor has participated in numerous exhibitions around the world, resulting in recognition of his work for the prestigious residences, public and private. These include the First Prize of the Expo Culture Art in Nice in 2003.
