Mediha Sevinc

She was born in Bulgaria at 1982. I lives in Turkey since 1989.
During her lisance education, she met with printmaking. Their relation deepened while postgraduate education. This deepness draged her to study printmaking doctorate.
Nowadays her printmakings go into experimental period. She generally uses some piece of her printmaking papers to make collages. Universe, cosmos, the world, sistem, the earth, planets etc. are her elements. Especially, the motif of trees that she has is as a pattern on printmakings.

She graduated from Mimar Sinan Fina Art University Painting Department at 2008. On her master thesis she studied the gravure in Turkey. Now she is doctoral student at Anatolia University Printmaking Department and also prelector at university in Istanbul. She teaches Basic Art Education, Basic Design and Printmaking at Art And Desing Faculty.

She has participated in many printmaking group exhibitions in Turkey. Also she took a part of Ty Pawn International Printmaking Exhibition and Cluster Photography & Print in England.
