Metal. It’s the base of my artworks for two contraire and complementary reasons: the impermanence of the reflective surface and the permanence of the intervening it. The action of intervening with it set a context where the fugaciousness of the reflections can be look at and perhaps momentarily understood. For the intervention I use a variety of paintings, inks or markers and a set of acids to etched the metal, that way I can achieve something permanent on the ever changing reflections of it.

Nowadays, I’m exploring the world of portraits and silhouettes. Sometimes foreground and background are enough, sometimes it requires an extra dimension. Each artwork requires a different approach, this has to do with my undying need to explore the dream world and the quantum realm. The possibilities are endless but given them a context, one can take a peak on the other side.
