I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece where I live and work after a big globetrotting.
I studied painting in Athens School of Fine Arts (1976-1979) and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in London (1979-1981).
I was apprenticed in the years 1985-1986 with Giannis Tsarouchis that is very horoured position.
After studying painting, I focused on photographic realism.
I studied Fayoum's portraits for three years in Agypt under a Unesco Program and I used this typology and technique for a series of 'modern' portraits.
In the 1980s I approached the painting of the European Renaissance and Caravaggio, as well as the Orientalists.
I have presented my work in solo and group exhibitions.
I am teaching painting as Master Class in my private atellier and gallery. I was involved in photography, collaborating with important publications. I work in the field of decoration and painting.
