Woojun Lee is an artist working with photography as his primary medium.
His practice begins with everyday life and gradually extends toward elements of the natural world. Rather than merely capturing landscapes, he collects fragments of nature to construct narratives about the environments that surround us. He is particularly interested in exploring what constitutes a "landscape" and how such components come together to shape our perception of it.
His work captures the interactive relationship between humans and nature, translating these interactions into visual landscapes. Currently, he is engaged in a body of work that explores the human being as a mediator between the microscopic and the macroscopic realms.
