Leaf Study in White II Photograph

Fernando Reis is a Brazilian photographer whose work moves between urban geometry and natural stillness. Through cityscapes, buildings, and landscapes, he explores how light transforms space and emotion. In his series White Dry Leaves, Fernando turns a simple organic object into a meditation on fragility and permanence. Each leaf, painted by hand after drying, becomes a trace of time — both preserved and transformed. Working from São Paulo and Estúdio 12 Fotografia, his images invite the viewer to slow down and look closely, finding poetry in form, silence, and everyday transitions.
