This place has no hour. It breathes greenery, reflects the sun in the water, is silent with me. Somewhere between sleep and reality, in a place that knows no hours. The body rests, thoughts quiet down, and the world slows down its breathing. This is a story about a moment that is not in a hurry an...

I was born and raised in Bełchatów, a small mining town in the centre of Poland. Throughout my childhood, I was accompanied by the greyness of apartment blocks and the view of large power plant chimneys. Creation has been with me since I was a child and has become a part of my life. I graduated from art studies. After my studies, I started working as a computer graphic designer, but it was not enough for me, I always felt this need to create. So I returned to painting, at first timidly, just for myself. Over time, there were more and more paintings, I felt more confident as an artist and I started showing my works at exhibitions, in galleries or on social media. I draw inspiration from my surroundings, the city and nature. When I go for a walk or drive, I try to observe and look for topics. Sometimes something simply catches my eye and I already know what kind of image it will be. I also take quick photos to remember a place or colours. I have a few topics that I like to return to, e.g. city gardens, trees or birds. They have symbolic meaning for me. In my paintings I want to convey the emotions, mood or atmosphere of the place that accompany me. I feel strongly connected to all of my paintings because they are connected to my emotions, experiences and stories.
