I am a Dallas, Texas based artist that works in a variety of media to create vivid expressions of color on canvases. I create independent and commissioned abstract pieces of all sizes using various media, including acrylic, watercolor, oil, ink, iridescent powder, and epoxy. After two decades working in the financial services industry, I finally made the leap to follow my true passion for creating impactful art pieces inspired by the world around me and my family. I love combining new techniques with other various traditional painting methods, such as paint pours with a hairdryer en plein air, ink splatters with spray-paint clouds, hand-scraped distressed basket weave patterns, and much more. I am an incredibly visual person, and I draw inspiration from nature, as well as the people around me, to blend colors and texture in unique ways resulting in timeless pieces that engage and surface something new each time someone views my works. One of my greatest rewards, with my art, is the moment clients experience a piece for the first time. My guide in life is giving to others, whether that be through art, devotion to family, a simple favor for a friend or working on community service projects. I have always enjoyed learning new skills and trying new things. I often take on DIY home and carpentry projects. I am a classic car enthusiast, owning and working on muscle cars from the 60s and 70s, a hobby I share with my sons. I love to cook, which is something I share with my daughter. I love sports, particularly soccer, and enjoy watching my kids compete.
