Sarah Mueller

Born in Cologne, Germany, my studies took me to London where I settled.

A designer and illustrator by training, my background and professional experience inform my art prints, while my watercolours, acrylics and oils are a result of my love for painting in which I am self-taught.

My artistic work is inspired by the beauty, humor, horror and surprise found in the ordinary everyday of human life.

I zoom in on everyday situations or highlight common objects by placing them into new contexts.

The topics I examine include domestic life, family dynamics and the quiet struggles in the turmoil of our times.
