Michael Marker

A fine art and documentary photographer that looks to capture the nuances and multifaceted strands of modern life.

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1972, and spent my formative years in Africa. I moved to the UK and completed a degree and post graduate research in Art History. I create works in drawing, painting and photography. I've been working as a professional and fine art photographer for over 15 years now.

Much of my work explores the relationship between people and places. The traces that are left behind, the histories and memories.
