My love for art began the very moment my memories originated. Even as a child, I liked to express myself with drawing and colours. I spent hours and hours tinkering with coloured pencils, crayons and felt-tip pens.
I did my first painting when I was still a young girl, at the age of sixteen: a naïfs-style painting depicting a country landscape with rural buildings, completely shrouded in snow.
I loved to go to the library and browse through art history books and exhibition catalogues to learn about famous painters and their works. Then I took to frequenting museums and any place rich in paintings and statues, such as ancient noble palaces and churches, of which my country, Italy, is so generous. As I studied the styles of the different historical periods and the characteristics of individual artists, I searched for my own identity. Those were the years of adolescence, then of the search for my own personal stylistic signature.

At just twenty-five years old, my company already had a dozen employees and was working with the best shops in Milan, Rome, Bologna and Florence. Those were hectic but satisfying years because, in designing real stage sets for the great fashion houses, I was able to unleash all my flair and imagination. I created large theatrical spaces, designed to involved and amaze.
Later, in 1988-1989, I started my own women's clothing line, Keeping the same brand name Kenzia & C. until, in 1996, I opened two shops in Milan, one in Via Moscova and the other one in Via Alessandro Volta. Two new shops were then added in Novate Milanese. This new activity allowed me to try my hand at choosing various fabrics and designing clothes in total freedom. In addition, I could design the windows an...
