I like to think that art is an ongoing conversation with the world, listening as much as speaking.

My drawings often suggest animistic presence in nature and common things, or depict impossible objects in a casual light. I try to reveal what is dismissed as trivial, lend mystery to the obvious, and substance to the ephemeral.
