Oleg Omelchenko is a Kharkiv-based artist, who actively experiments in the field of easel and monumental painting, and graphic techniques. His style is based on fusion of traditional and innovative approaches, defined by high demands toward the artistic mastery. The artists aspires to present timeless existential problems through the prism of contemporary life. Visual language of his works refers to Oleg’s background as a monumental painter, allowing him to achieve profoundness and balance between aesthetical and conceptual sides of the projects
Oleg Omelchenko has been an active participant of local, All-Ukrainian and international shows since 2001. The member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and one of the founders of Mezhaart group (2009).Currently works as the lecturer at the drawing department of Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and an applicant for completes his PhD thesis.
