Patrick Reeves

I was born in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1974 and raised in South Texas. Having grown up both next to South Padre Island and the U.S./Mexico Border, I had an affinity for the ocean and wide landscapes. Throughout my life, I have always been fascinated by the Impressionists and how they combine abstract shapes to form representational imagery. At an early age I found mentors inside and outside of school to further my aptitude.

I studied painting and life drawing with Karl Umlauf at Baylor University in 1996 where I received a BFA in Graphic Design.
