Zhaohui Yang

"I try to explore different mediums, textures and techniques to express my feelings about traditional culture."

Yang Zhaohui is a Chinese painter with international exposure. Her still life paintings depict the clothing and accouterments of the Ming and Qing dynasty as well as delicate floral arrangements. Her works seeks to preserve the craftsmanship of traditional garment production and the ancient motifs and patterns they often features. Her paintings are masterfully executed and offer a vision into the past.
