Luz Maria Vial

I was on born December 9th, 1971. I was severely nearsighted from an early age and I presently see less than 30% of what a normal person sees. Despite this handicap, I have not lost interest in painting and this may be a defining factor for my work. I am self-taught and my painting showcases a grasp of light, color and shapes. I have experimented with abstract and figurative art, together with a very unique brand of realism. My work has been shown at several art exhibits in Chile.
