Req is a true British 'old school' graffiti artist that has transcended the street styles in order to make unique exhibitable artwork.
He started using spray paint in 1984 and has developed a fine art style that he refers to as 'Spray-paint Realism'.
His current work is of a Romantic semi Impressionistic kind in which he celebrates the beauty of women via his Muse - HH in oil paint, spraypaint ink, graphite or pastel.
Req is also known for his painting work for Mo-wax recordings in the mid 90s and his own music career with Skint records and Warp records.
Req regularly shows his work at Art of Treason, Brighton and Wish-less gallery, Tokyo.
