"The representation of the idea captivates me, the universe of thought, the place of man in nature and in his relations with his fellows. The path of the imagination of dreams and dreams, the intuitive search for elements of a physical representation that releases a moral attitude. I create variations from the same color, variations comparable to those of a sonata whose construction revolves entirely around a key. The color applied directly without preparatory drawing "alla prima" replaces the drawing to define gestures, contours and shapes. Edith Chauvet-Simon

French painter born in 1955. As a teenager, she attended the Ateliers d'Art Parisiens, the Roederer Academy in Place des Vosges and the courses of the city of Paris in Montparnasse. Literary bachelor. Superior School of Modern Arts in Paris. Award of a production quality prize and interior designer diploma. Ecole du Louvre in 1st cycle of Art History. Fashion designer diploma at Unieco. Undertakes studies and research in psychology of Art in therapy Paris 8. Practices dance assiduously, turns to theater and music with the saxophone.
For 20 years, Edith worked as a freelancer, with in particular studies and realizations for the public works of the State. Spatial planning and public environments. As well as for various companies: Surveyors, architects, aeronautical and mechanical industries. Achievements of complete interior fittings. Textile and print designer. Collaborator at the Louvre of Antiquaries. Animator of painting and sculpture workshops. Member of various associations (sndt, adag, Taylor foundation, the sixteen angels, the BôDiables.) Member of the Society of Authors of Visual Arts and Image Fixe. Deepening towards painting and sculpture and affiliation to La Maison des Artistes since 1991
