Jonathan Brown

Born in Taiwan. Raised in Texas. Now based in The Netherlands. I make collage/assemblage and films using various found materials including found film footage and photos.

I think of myself as a scavenger giving new life to discarded scraps. I have great respect for the roles chance and "happy mistakes" can play in my work. For me, so much of the creative process is in the revealing of the hidden or unknown. And often humor gets exposed as well.
