Raymond Ezra was born in London but grew up in Madrid.
He went to British schools at first and then adopted the Spanish system at the age of ten.
His mother, Beryl, was an artist, and this influenced his early development.
Raymond Ezra returned to the UK in 2000 where he also works in education.
At present, he lives with his wife in Hull, England.
Raymond Ezra obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours degree with the Open University, and he is also an author.
Raymond Ezra opened a studio in Medinaceli between 1994 and 1999. There he developed his own style of Op Art, in which a viewer can animate a series of images creating an illusion of movement or “Animationism.”
He has artworks in private collections throughout the world, including the U.S.A, Japan, Germany, France and Holland.
He's had artwork selected at the Ferens Open Exhibition in Hull and at the Beverley Open Exhibition.
