RECOGNITION

French born artist, graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Arts in London in 2001.
« I am fascinated by the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Turner,Vermeer and Zao Wou-Ki. My work incorporates all medium ( ink, smoke, oil and acrylic) to create an abstraction where light and marks on the materials create a space an envelope and finally a sensation.
I use my brushed to create movement and stillness, combining liquid and solid elements, ying and yang, feminity and masculinity.
Natural elements are my sources of inspiration: the wind, the water, the forest and of course the Mediterranean landscape. I often paint in front of the Sea and wherever I am (in Bormes,
Paris or London) La Provence and its lights stay in my mind.
In short, I aspire to make people feel or reflect and finally to create a deep bond with each and everyone’s most profound humanity. »
