Patricia Hausen

I am Patricia Hausen, a contemporary abstract artist from Germany, and my work embodies the essence of minimalism. My artistic journey is deeply rooted in my connection to nature, particularly the serene qualities of water and the sea, as well as the calming harmonies of classical music. Through my minimalist approach, I strive to create a sanctuary of calm for both myself and my audience.

My diverse educational background includes studies at prestigious institutions such as KLC School of Design, West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, Yale University, Bradford University, Mozarteum Salzburg, Leeds Conservatoire, and Freie Universität Berlin. Each of these experiences has shaped my unique artistic perspective and allows me to draw from a rich tapestry of cross-disciplinary knowledge.

In my artistic practice, I explore the delicate balance between simplicity and complexity. I skillfully manipulate a limited palette to reveal the intrinsic qualities of colors, shapes, and materials. My work is a testament to the power of reduction, demonstrating how the essence of form can be captured with minimal elements.
