Joseph Coleman

Coleman grew up in Maine and is one of 7 children. His father
served in the US Army and was the chief engineer of the Maine DOT, his
his mother a scholar. After attending the University of Maine
on a football scholarship and teaching 8th grade science at Etna Dixmount school, he left Maine to move to NYC. His poems have appeared in The New Criterion, The New Yorker,
Esquire and Vogue. His first book of poetry- 45° North Latitude- was published in 2016. . His collages have been seen in many publications
including Casa Vogue and Bruce Weber's All American 3-family albums. Coleman is married to British Actress, Janet McTeer.
