[Artist's Note]
Scientific progress of the cutting-edge technology changed the personal relationship in diverse and complex way by the use of social networking services.
Nevertheless, it is not easy to communicate honestly in the midst of the overflowing superficial relationships.
Furthermore people fall into the abyss of misfortune due to damaged relationships.

Still, if there is someone who I can share the warmth of the body... if there is someone who stands by me withstanding all the hardships,
the World would be so much better place to live.

“Young-Ae Yi is a South Korean artist that has proven her express understanding of pain. Additionally her work displays the constant battle that humans face between laughter and tears. Young-Ae Yi appears to be extremely well versed in the area of human comedy, drama, pain and laughter. She is able to intelligently convey and mix beginning innocence with cathartic representation and ageless wisdom. Her raw artistic skills were developed by way of intimate experience.
