Born in Brescia in 1957 and based in Milan since early childhood, Alberto Capitani is a digital artist whose work bridges classical disciplines and cutting-edge technology. With a background in music and philosophy, Capitani explores the intersection of aesthetics, irony, and conceptual depth through artificial intelligence.
A graduate in piano from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, he also pursued studies in composition and electronic music. His academic journey extended to the University of Milan, where he delved into mathematical logic and theoretical philosophy. For over four decades, Capitani taught piano in music-oriented middle schools, nurturing a generation of musicians.
In recent years, he has transitioned into the realm of visual arts, harnessing AI tools such as DALL·E and ChatGPT to create a diverse portfolio exceeding 1,200 works.
