Ryan Smith is a self-taught mosaic artist with a passion for transforming thousands of baseball cards into vibrant pieces of art. What began as a serendipitous moment in 2019, when I stumbled upon my childhood baseball card collection, has blossomed into a remarkable artistic journey. Instead of discarding these cards of sentimental value but little monetary worth, I took scissors to them and embarked on a creative adventure like no other. They have been featured prominently in reputable publications such as ESPN, New York Post, LA Times, CNN, FOX, ABC, and NBC, among others. Despite never having taken a formal art class, I have honed my craft through passion, dedication, and a keen eye for detail. In just five years, I have seen my art displayed in auctions, acquired by collectors worldwide, and earned a well-deserved place in a prestigious professional sports team’s Hall of Fame.
