ArzuEndam is an Izmir-based visual artist working with mixed media, collage, and painting. With a background in finance, she shifted her focus to the arts over a decade ago, embracing experimentation and visual storytelling as tools for both personal transformation and cultural critique. Her practice centers on themes of identity, consumer culture, digital life, and visual memory. In series like House of Icons, and Collage People series, she blends pop imagery with geometric forms, paper textures, and references to folk art and historical ornamentation. Her works often balance humor and critique, exploring how we construct meaning through repetition, pattern, and cultural symbolism. Rooted in curiosity and emotional insight, her creative process involves intuitive layering, material exploration, and a constant dialogue between past and present. She sees each artwork as a form of visual archaeology through layers of history, identity, and imagination to uncover new forms of connection.
