Round Pond Drawing

A worker uses their hands. A craftsperson uses their hands and their head. An artist uses their hands, their head, and their heart. — Appalachian Saying. After a lifetime of working as an illustrator, graphic artist, and animator, I am no longer limited to someone else's specs, deadlines, or requirements. I am embarking on a series of drawings of ponds of the Pine Barrens, a unique ecosystem that exists in only two places in the world. But I will not be limited as a landscape artist and have other work to do. I'm in it for the long haul, or until they pull that pencil from my cold, dead hands.
