Sulaimon Wasiu Akande is a Nigeria contemporary artists He was born and raised in Oyo State Oyo town Nigeria. He attended Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Oyo where he studied Fine and applied arts. Between 2014 to 2017 Also work as a graphics designer in Lagos for four years. From 2020-2025 He love art ever since when he was very young He is a professional designer and painter. He started painting as a child, and from then I have been creating unique and expressive art that brings out emotions and speaks to the viewer's soul. I also enjoy working with acrylics, watercolors, oil and mixed media. I love experimenting with different materials and techniques to create original pieces of art. I have taken classes and workshops like Femo Art Production Who is also a Nigerian contemporary artist to AFOLABI OLUWAFEMI, in order to learn more about these materials and perfect my skill. I have extensive experience in all aspects of the design and painting process, from the initial concept all the way through to the finished piece. My art is a reflection of my experiences, my emotions and my thoughts. I explore many contemporary topics such as identity, memory and culture in my paintings. I also take inspiration from nature and the beauty of the world around me. Inspiration to create abstract art comes from the unique and creative combination of colors, shapes, patterns, Imagination and textures that are different from reality and can suggest new ideas, feelings, and emotions. I believe that art should not just be admired, but it should also be experienced. My goal is to connect with the viewer and evoke emotions that linger and make them reflect. My artwork is characterized by strong and energetic compositions that evoke a sense of emotion from the viewer. My abstract art is mostly from imagination My passion for creativity has always been my biggest motivation to become an artist. I have always found much joy in expressing my thoughts and feelings through art. The potential to create something beautiful and meaningful has pushed me to keep exploring my artistic abilities.
