Cosmic Bird This is the artwork gallery of Barbara Parise (outsider artist active since 1980) also known as Lady U. Plush (1999 - 2011) Runelda De MoonSun (art name) and Cosmic Bird (2011— ). She is an Italo-British multi-disciplinary Visual/ aural creator, cosmic entrepreneur. Avant-garde composer, voice, screenwriter/writer/poet, film-maker director/ photographer, film/theatre director, muse, actress, dancer, performer, producer, editor, expert researcher, sound designer and art/ film curator, seasoned traveller. Currently Lecturer/ educator in various institutions, editor and artist. Previously Content provider, event manager, art gallery & vintage shop owner, film critic/curator, historian/consultant. In the past (amongst other ventures) I contributed to : Rorscharch company (screenwriting and writing projects, post-automatic writing); loose art collective Ambassadors Of Plush, Plush Productions Ltd; Plush Shop and Art gallery; Event creator, director / film-maker, organiser, manager & performer of Surrealists/ decadent live events/ happenings with Alt Media at the Masonic Lodge, St Leonards-On-Sea; As artist with HAF, Coastal Currents Art Festival, Hastings; Rye Arts Festival, Venice Itsliquid festival, Loosen art exhibitions, Rome. As curator and artist : Film nights at HAF (Hastings Arts Forum) and outdoor events at lottery funded St Leonards Gardens; As artist and craft-woman at Rye Art Fair; Film and art festivals: With Plush Productions Berlin/ Berlinale, Cannes, Rome, Paris, London, Venice. As solo artist /film-maker: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Athens, Crete, Barcelona, London, Rome. Ocean Literacy /Disegna Il Tuo Mare /Italy, Oslo/Norway Vega Scene. Cosmic Bird is my solo independent multidisciplinary art project since 2010, following the trails of my past experience as multi-disciplinary artist started early in my life as Barbara Parise and then following the legacy of Lady Plush I began dwelling in visionary & performance art in my childhood & teenage years.
