I was born in 1971. I live and work in Padova, Italy. I have worked as graphic and industrial designer for architecture and design studios, in the last years also as digital colorist for comics and illustrations. In 2009 I have begun to produce my first drawings with the black pen, that characterizes my art works. Most of the times the inspiration comes from inside, I don’t need a subject or an intention, my drawings just come out. I would define them as unconscious explorations, I take the pen and let it flows on the paper without a rational control. The results are like embryonic elements, latent forms brought to life creating unknown landscapes. I am also fascinated by the connection between internal and external representation, so sometimes I start the work observing real subjects as leaves, barks, stones etc… I keep the original forms but I freely draw inside.
