Born in the fairytale city of Brașov, I spent my childhood in a big house where I lived with the whole family on my father's side: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, dogs, cats and chickens :). Recently I have come to the conclusion that it was my grandfather who influenced me the most in my life. He was a sports teacher and taught me how to ride a bike, play tennis, billiards, chess and other board games ( using beans as game pieces ) and used to tell us a lot of fantasy stories. He loved to paint and I`m sure I also got this from him! I have a travel and tourism degree, I love tennis, chess, biking, reading and I have always had art-related hobbies : I love photography and people say I have a good eye for it, I have always painted my clothes, bags, shoes, even skis, I’ve been collecting coins since childhood for their beauty, for their esthetic value and geographical characteristics, I have hairstyling skills and fashion sense. I have started to paint more actively around 2017, and in 2018 I have started a small business by hand-painting vintage bags when: BANG!!! I rediscovered myself, it was like my alter ego suddenly came out; I could not think of anything else but painting, I could not stop imagining the process and the way it made me feel, I was like hypnotised and I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life! I started painting a lot in a variety of mediums, learning and reading a lot about it and after a while I started taking art courses at Magda Vacariu Art School, which were interrupted by the pandemic, but the learning continued, as I am a devoted autodidact and the curiosity, desire and huge love for painting motivated me. When I paint I am complete and I have that authentic feeling of inner peace!
