Hummingbird Painting

I am a self-taught artist living in Los Angeles, CA Who loves to work with different types of mediums, from traditional painting to digital art. I grew up spending time in Japan, The Philippines, and Canada. Settling down in Southern California with my husband and daughters, I have found time to paint, draw, and create. The time has come to share my art with the community. I am connecting with galleries and other artists, allowing my work to be seen in venues all over the City of Angels. Other artists inspire me, the beauty of life and the second chance I have been given inspires me. Most of all my family and friends, but nothing compares to the smile of a fresh face, seeing my art for the first time. Creativity is limitless; all you have to do is open up your mind and embrace it. I love expressing who I am through my art. Music makes my world go round. All types of music. It takes me to different places and different times through the memories of sound. That is the feeling that I wish to pass on with my art - being able to create something that touches someone’s soul. Being able to express personal emotions and feelings through colors and brush strokes releases my burdens.
