" Secret desires...." Painting

I am a visual artist, originally from Ukraine, live and work in Norway. I concentrate on a researching such topics as identity, people’s personality, national characteristics and their roots using historical aspect. I also work parallel with the female component, again returning to the historical aspect, also reflecting on the role of a woman in the Universe. My main subjects of work are portraits,nature and abstract.Very important for me is to create a special mood for a viewer, my works are bright and lively. I like to work with many different materials and media, sometimes even unexpectable for me. I am often looking for unusual ways of the unexpected: an ironic twist of things and images. It’s also funny to provocate the viewer to new and perhaps unexplored territories.
