Elspeth's work is concerned with journeys, origins and destinations. She is drawn to forgotten spaces, ruins and iconic structures and is interested in how those structures merge into the landscape over time. These influences are reflected in her work, particularly the way in which she uses collage, paint and other materials, through a layering process to make her pieces. Her work can be seen in private collections and has featured in the publication "International Contemporary Artists Vol V" which was curated by Eve Lemonidou and is an ICA publication. Elspeth's most recent exhibition was at the Colorida Art Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal in December 2012. Elspeth's professional practice includes painting, weaving, Installations and performance.
