Vinko Prislan was born (1952) in Slovenj Gradec - Slovenia. He graduated on the University of Maribor. On his creative path, he had many different domestic and foreign mentors, who trained him in techniques, composition and artistic - theoretical views. So far he has created hundreds of art works. The first years there were oil on canvas, and later mostly acrylic and mixed techniques on canvas in medium and large formats. His works has been exhitbited in various content opuses on solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, Poland and France. He also regularly participates in international art colonies and ex-temporers. He lives and works in Radenci.
