Radix I Photograph

Eva Wardi (born 1956) is a photographer mainly concentrating on documentary photography in black and white. She lives and works in Helsinki. Eva Wardi has held numerous solo exhibitions since 1995. Her photographs have appeared in several visual collages on Finnish television. She also works with film. She has worked for the Finnish Broadcasting Television Company and made museum films. Eva Wardis work underlines two perspectives, of which the prime one is the idea that the individual can change his or her fate. The second perspective maintains that the image of the world can be altered. Photography is a guest where more can be found than one expects.
