37 years ago I started photography and worked hard to learn the basics. Years passed and everything changed very fast. With black and white, dia positive films and then digital photography, I added new images to the development of my vision. I have been living in New York for 24 years. Life looks different from every window, you close one and open another. You have to know where and how to look. At first, I didn't differentiate between photographic styles, which increased my sense of freedom. I could see the details of the world through a small frame. Exciting! I opened 99+ONE exhibitions to raise awareness about violence against women, consisting of 99 women's profiles. I started with an outdoor exhibition in an iconic park in New York, Mudanya/Turkey, Amsterdam/Netherlands, Mercy University/New York and published a book. I try to find the beauty in everyone I photograph and let the truth in them come to light. I would like to thank everyone I photograph and everyone who feels free in front of my camera.
