BLUE - Limited Edition of 4 Print

Kristine Bula is an emerging Latvian artist and designer based in Portugal who is always searching to discover new artistic techniques and mature her own individual style. She works in silkscreen, linocut, monotype and mixed media, mainly in black and white with some casual colour tints - applying dripping paint, free brush strokes and accidental paint layers to her abstract works. Many of those abstract works are spontaneous, unique prints which gives them an authentic quality. Her ink drawings focus mainly on the human form portraying the coexistence of the beauty and the grotesque, often playing with sensual aesthetics.
