Kerry Cannon is a bronze sculptor born in Denver in 1958. He moved to Australia in 1995 and became an Australian citizen in 2003. In Australia, he decided that sink or swim he was going to do something he enjoyed for the rest of his life and that was going to be art. He created his first bronze in 1996 and has stuck with it. His work is figurative and narrative. It is strongly influenced by comics and uses sculptures to tell stories. He shows annually in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria in Australia and overseas. He has shown in China, Japan, Italy, England and the United States.
