“I m inspired by my surroundings. That can be the impressions and emotions that I experience from travelling, India, Ecuador, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Europe. Colours that are varied and warm. But then, when I m back in Holland I realise time and again how diffuse the colour is and how soft the light. And at the same time I remember how Dutch I am and how much I love this landscape. I focus on detail, a poppy in a hedgerow that has lived through the rain”
In 1996 I graduated the Academy of Art Artez, Arnhem The Netherlands. Since that time I am working as an profesional artist.
