Jan Thomson

I love to get out and paint, in watercolour , oils and , more recently acrylics.
Capturing light and mood, getting people to notice places and things that we often take for granted. I strive to create paintings that capture the way I see the world.
We moved to St.Arnaud from Wellington five years ago, and now I work full time from my studio at 10 Rangeview Rd, which is open to visitors. I also run watercolour workshops and am happy to discuss commissions .
My work is held in private collections both in New Zealand and overseas.

I have held regular solo exhibitions, currently I exhibit with the both Suter Gallery and Watercolour NZ, as well as participating in the Nelson Art Expo each year.
