Maike Barbara Maier

Maike Barbara Maier, born 1972 in Bocholt, Germany on the NL border. Today she lives in Wesel, near Düsseldorf on the Lower Rhine.
Since 2020 she has been working in her new studio in Bochum, Ruhr area.

After high school and a few years at the technical high school for design, it always went on in this field.
At design, graphics and photography she learns, lives and works in Reprostutios, litho institutions, graphics offices, photo studios, advertising agencies, in print stores, up to the animation studio.
Since 2003 self-employed, she offers graphic design, illustration and photography for commercial, industrial and private customers in the agency in Wesel at the lower Rhine.
Quite stratified becomes, how much all these areas have influence on her work and now bundled and full-time expression in the art may find.

After smaller public exhibitions, the first solo exhibition "Interest in Black" takes place over a year in the agency rooms of Beckdesign GmbH in Bochum / Ruhrarea
